Traditionally, we eat the “Seven Species” of Israel, including dates, figs, olives, grapes, barley, wheat, and pomegranates. This Olive Oil Date Granola recipe celebrates these foods but can be topped with your favorite, seasonal fruits no matter the season.
The best part about homemade granola is that you get to decide what goes inside it. Ingredients matter. For this recipe, we’re throwing in almonds, chia seeds, flaxseeds, and walnuts! Mix in coconut and sweeten with cinnamon, and you’ve got yourself a tasty treat that is sure to prove addicting.
