This Pizza Hamantaschen has all the flavors you love about pizza… but in a different kind of triangle from what you’re probably used to.

After all, a pizza party always means good times. Even better with pizza that’s shaped like a hamantaschen!

Here’s a fact of life: pizza cookies are a dream come true for anyone who wants to have their pizza and eat it too. This Pizza Hamantaschen recipe is a fun way to spice up our favorite Purim cookie recipes and add some excitement to your next family gathering.

Sweet hamantaschen are great, but if you’re in the mood for a savory change then this hamantaschen recipe’s for you! The only thing left is to invite your friends and family over for a little pizza cookie party!


Pizza Hamantaschen

Ingredients

  • 1 package premade pizza crust, rolled into an 9-inch circle
  • 3 tbsp pizza sauce
  • ½ tsp basil, dried
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • Pinch red chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a tray with baking paper.
  • Spread sauce on top of the pizza dough, placing most of it in the center 3 inches.
  • Top with basil, cheeses, and chili flakes.
  • Fold the edges in to create a triangle, pinching the corners firmly
  • Brush the crust with olive oil.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden.
  • Enjoy!
